The Challenge

A Brighter Home is where it all started for us. The original site has evolved over the last ten or so years to what you currently see. To be honest, it needs a freshen up, if we ever get the time! However, it still works – extremely well.

The original brief was really what has become our blueprint for most service business website designs – separate service landing pages with lots of locally specific landing pages. It had to be user friendly for the silver surfer generation of demographic, with plenty of contact opportunities and third party review reinforcement.

Finally, because A Brighter Home are a multi service cleaning company, the site should encourage cross selling of the various services. For example, creating sales funnels. A customer might arrive looking for oven cleaning and end up also booking carpet cleaning.

The Solution

Colours of the site are based around the orange branding of A Brighter Home. On every page, there are links to all the other services to encourage cross selling. All pages also have plenty of methods of contact. Finally, we invented the ‘floating’ ever present link to third party reviews on Google, Checkatrade, Which? etc. This has created the perfect invitation for customers to check out the reviews of the company. As a result, A Brighter Home’s page views on Checkatrade are double the average all helping push SEO results. The result of all this work means this site outperforms most similar sites by far. A Brighter Home usually book around £12-£15k of work every month directly from Google organic rankings. They haven’t spent a penny on Google pay per click for over 3 years.
